Leave it to me to do things backwards.
LittleH is going to start crawling like a speed demon very soon.
So, my mission was, "Get carpeting in the basement - immediately - so that he's got a place to crash & burn." (We have all laminate floors in our house!)
So, I push Hubby to get the basement finished enough to put carpet in. The guys come & install it last night & I'm SO happy. It's beautiful!
Well, it rained this morning. Apparently we've got a leak around one of the windows. We need gutters...or my beautiful carpet will be getting wet EVERY time it rains. Go figure. It's not "flooded basement wet"...but still...it's not right. Urgk.
The labradork had a little mishap yesterday & slipped on the tile. He immediately started pouring blood everywhere. I managed to get it stopped (by vet-wrapping a maxi pad to it, no less...I was out of gauze!), and he seems to be doing okay - but it scared the hell out of me. 1 week to go 'til we go back to the vet for a recheck & suture removal. Ick!
Gotta run...there's a little boy looking for his momma!
